දැනට ලෝකයේ සහ අප රටේ උද්ගතවී ඇති කොරෝනා වෛරසය විනාශ කිරීම සඳහා ප‍්‍රමුඛතම සහ අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම අවශ්‍යතාවයක් වී තිබෙන එතනෝල් නොමිලේ ලබාදීම

Royal Casks distilleries සමාගමේ සභාපතිතුමා වන වජිර ගුණසේකර මැතිතුමා විසින් කටයුතු සම්පාදනය කර ඇත.

Royal Casks distilleries සමාගම යනු දැනට ලංකාවේ තිබෙන තත්වෙන් උසස්ම ස්ප‍්‍රීතු නිෂ්පාදන සමාගමක් වන අතර එය VA Distilleries සමාගමේපූර්ණ අනුබද්ධිත සමාගමක්වේ.

අද දිනය වන විට (24/03/2020) ලක්ෂ පන්සීයකට අධික එතනෝල් සුදානම් කර බෙන අතර එය ලංකාව පුරා රෝහල්හා සෞඛ්‍ය අංශ වෙත ලබා දීමට කටයුතු කරමින් ඇත.

අද දිනයේද බලපත‍්‍ර ලැබූ තොග ලීටර දහදාහක ප‍්‍රමාණයක් සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය වෙත නිකුත් කිරීමට කටයුතු කළ අතර . එමෙන්ම 21/03/2020 වන දින සෞඛ්‍ය අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජෙනරාල් වන අනිල් ජාසිංහ සහ සෞඛ්‍යය ඇමතිනි පවිත‍්‍රා දේවිවන්නි ආරච්චි මැතිණිය වෙත තොග නිදහස් කිරීමේ ලිපි භාරදෙන ලදී. එම තොග ලංකාව පුරා ඇති රෝහල් පොදු ස්ථාන හා සෞඛ්‍ය අංශයට සම්බන්ධ ස්ථාන විෂබීජ හරණය කිරීම සඳහා එම තොග යොදාගනු ලැබේ.

එමෙන්ම ඉදිරියටද බලපත‍්‍ර ලබන ආකාරයට රජයේ සහ සෞඛ්‍ය අංශයේ අවශ්‍යතාවය අනුව එම තොග නිකුත්කිරීමට සූදානම්කර තිබෙන අතර සුරාබදු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ පූර්ණ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ සුරාබදු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව ලබාදෙනු ලබන බලපත‍්‍ර වලට නොමිලේ ලබාදීම සිදුකරමින් ඇත.

මේ මොහොතේ සමස්ත ශ‍්‍රී ලාංකීය ජනතාව මුහුණ දී තිබෙන මෙම ව්‍යසනයෙන් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ජනතාව ආරක්ෂා කරගැනීම සඳහා රජයට සහ සෞඛ්‍ය අංශයට අවශ්‍ය කරන එම එතනෝල් ලක්ෂ පන්සියයකට අධික ප‍්‍රමාණයක් නොමිලේ ලබා දෙමින් සමස්ත ශ‍්‍රී ලාංකීය ජනතාව ආරක්ෂා කරගැනීමේ වැඩසටහනට Royal Casks distilleries සමාගමේ සභාපතිතුමා සක‍්‍රීය දායකත්වය ලබාදී ඇත.


එමෙන්ම සමස්ත ශ‍්‍රී ලාංකීය ජනතාව මේ මොහොතේ පත්වී තිබෙන මෙම ව්‍යසන තත්ත්වයෙන් මිදී සාමාන්‍ය ජන ජීවිතයට සෞඛ්‍ය සම්පන්නව අවතීර්ණවනු දැකීම එම සමාගමේ සභාපතිතුමන් වන වජිර ගුණසේකර මැතිතුමාගේ පැතුමයි.


The Royal Casks Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd. company has made arrangements to provide Ethanol worth Rs. 50 Million free of charge to the Ministry of Health during the crisis (Covid-19).

Due to the current situation and the rapid spread of Coronavirus disease(Covid-19) in the world and our country, the chairman of Royal Casks Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd. Mr. Vajira Gunasekera has made all the necessary arrangements to provide Ethanol free of charge for the eradication of coronavirus in our country.

Royal Casks Distilleries is one of the leading and finest spirit manufacturers in Sri Lanka and is a fully owned subsidiary of VA Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd.

As of today (24/03/2020) over five hundred thousand bulk liters of ethanol has been prepared and delivered to hospitals and healthcare units across the country.

Action was taken today to issue ten thousand bulk liters of licensed ethanol to the Ministry of Health. Also, on 21/03/2020 the release of the consignment was handed over to Mr. Anil Jasinghe, Director General of Health and Mrs. Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi, Minister of Health. These stocks were used for sterilization of hospitals, public places and health related areas throughout the country.

More consignments will be issued as per the requirement of the government and the health sector. The issuance of the licenses will be under the complete administration of the Department of Excise.

The Chairman of Royal Casks Distilleries is determined to provide the requirement of over five hundred thousand bulk liters of Ethanol free of charge to the government and health sector to eradicate the virus and to protect the Sri Lankan people from the current catastrophe and he is hoping to see all Sri Lankans recover from this catastrophic situation and enter back into their normal lifestyle soon.
